Rose Matafeo‘s energy is infectious, the atmosphere in the sold out Pleasance Above was genuinely something else after viewing the pre-show ping pong.
While it’s synopsis may sound like a generic Edinburgh Fringe hour about mid-20s angst, it’s certainly not. There’s some charming set pieces that every “millennial” can relate too which work well within the crafted hour, delivered effortlessly through Rose’s conversational stories.
It’s hard to pin exactly what’s so special about Horndog, but that’s part of the magic – everything comes together perfectly.
Rose Matafeo: Horndog plays at the Pleasance Courtyard until 26th August. Tickets can be purchased here.
