Edinburgh Fringe 2015 Featured Post Review

Adam Hills: Clown Heart // Review @ Edinburgh Fringe 2015

Adam Hills is one of the nicest guys in comedy at the moment, his new show “Clown Heart” is one of the best stand-up hours I’ve ever seen.

The first twenty minutes of the hour set was complete, off-track audience interaction, so much so that the audience roared with laughter when we finally saw him get on with the set piece he was setting up previously. With such an open and nice personality, the audience conversations were fluent and hilarious.

The content of the show is similar to Hills’ hit show, The Last Leg. Expect to hear some passionate monologues about death and cancer, but all with his unique perspective, preaching the truth and a positive angle. There’s no holding back, you’ll be laughing and shedding a tear all in the same story.

Ending a show leaving the audience fulfilled is hard to achieve in just an hour. The climax to “Clown Heart” is pure brilliance and will every audience member with a tear or two in their eyes. We’ll leave the details out to keep it all fresh but it’s certainly a special moment that will stay with you.

You can see “Adam Hills: Clown Heart” at Assembly Hall until the 30th August 2015 at 19:30. For more information including tickets (which are currently sold out), click here.
