Pete Firman is no stranger to the Fringe, bringing his unique blend of jokes and tricks to the table in his usual residence of the Pleasance Courtyard.

I’ve been fortunate enough to of seen most of Firman’s shows at the festival, and this is where the weakness is for Marvels. There’s nothing of note that’s new, it’s stuff we’ve all seen before with a few updated references to recent events which is a great shame.

If you’ve never seen Pete Firman live before, then sure – don’t miss one of the magic staples of the festival, it’s the perfect blend of variety, however if you’ve seen a show over the past couple of years, then you may want to give this year a miss.

Pete Firman: Marvels takes place at the Pleasance Courtyard until 26th August, where it’ll then head on tour. Tickets can be purchased here.
