Another year, another political sh*t storm – and Matt Forde is here to guide us through these turbulent times in “A Show Hastily Rewritten in Light of Recent Events – Again!”.

If you’re not super into politics, you may want to read up before hand with names left-right-and-centre being dropped without explanation/context, you’ll miss out on some of the better off-hand gags because of this. But if you’re political nerd, then this is the show to see.

More specifically, if you’re a fan of Matt Forde (whether that’s via his Political Party Podcast or Matt Forde: Unspun), you’ll be familiar with some of the show’s material. Which given his recent hectic scheduling, is understandable. But it’s still a joy to be in his presence with the material being performed, plus the pace of the show is incredible so it’ll be onto the next topic before you know it.

Matt Forde: A Show Hastily Rewritten in Light of Recent Events – Again! is a whistle stop tour of the past twelve months in politics, both in the UK and the US. The hour flies by, with this year all of the impressions being incredibly relevant (one of gripes from last year’s show).

Matt Forde: A Show Hastily Rewritten in Light of Recent Events – Again! is on until the 27th August at the Pleasance Courtyard.
