Comedy Edinburgh Fringe 2016 Review

James Acaster: Reset

James Acaster is one of those names you hear in every queue at the Fringe, with people discussing how they were lucky enough to see the show, or disappointed with being unable to get tickets. This leaves a lot of expectations on the table when you finally get round to seeing the show live, but luckily it lives up to the hype.

The routines are rehearsed to hit on every comical beat, and this shows. From the brutal dissection on British phrases, to hard-hitting analogies on the EU referendum (but don’t worry, the show isn’t that political). All of this is carried upon Acaster’s relaxed presence on stage.

James Acaster: Reset is on everyday at the Pleasance Courtyard at 19:30 until Sunday 29th August 2016.
