BEASTS’ whole show as it self is a giant sketch, and for that it’s already starts on a good step. Rather than being a generic sketch show, it does some very interesting things, of which we wont spoil.

The amount of energy, especially Ciarán Dowd, is marvellous to see on stage (and off). You’ll never be bored and always be waiting for the next extravagant moment. The set-ups and changes to the sketches are all intelligently achieved and all comes together for a very satisfying conclusive sketch.

Despite being a chaotic show, everything is extremely well organised and the timing is perfect. This is by far the best sketch show at this year’s Fringe.

You can see “BEASTS: Live DVD” at the Pleasance Courtyard everyday until the 31st August at 16:45. For more information including tickets, click here.
