Bagman may not be taking place in the most elegant venue and at a popular time but this adds all to the experience of the show. Entering into Pleasance That, we’re greeted by the Bagman, giving all of us entering, a raffle ticket to attach to our items.

Brendan Murphy who portrays Bagman, utilises the character to house several personas and sketches , giving us an insight into to the type of people that may leave their items in such a place.

The whole show has an improvised feel and never feels scripted in the slightest, constantly interacting with the crowd at every point of the show. Murphy is a natural performer and fully possess the characters in a way that is rare to see.

You can see Brendan Murphy in “Bagman” at the Pleasance Courtyard every day at 00:00 until the 30th August 2015. For more information including tickets, click here.
