Adam Riches is Coach Coach // Review @ Edinburgh Fringe 2015

Imagine Coach Carter vs Dodgeball, this is the live version on stage. Is it impressive? Yes!

Set in the court of Pleasance High, the impressive cast including Adam Riches, David Elms, Massive Dad’s Liz Smith and many more of comedy fame really all click together in order to bring a fluent performance.

The storyline embraces the clichés to offer a pastiche on the films mentioned above. The storyline is amusing, often branches will be created then quickly lost but while they last, it’ll be a great ride. Also, we have to give props to one of the funniest set pieces in the show, the O2 Arena comedy gig.

The beauty in this show is the ad-libbing, the very talented cast led by Adam Riches are capable of adapting to these impromptu moments. It would of been brilliant to of seen more of opportunities for this but as it stands, there’s enough to keep you on your toes.

You can see “Adam Riches is Coach Coach” at the Pleasance Courtyard every day until the 30th August at 21:45. For more information including tickets, click here.
